Role Summary

The Admissions Counsellor will be responsible for managing student admission enquiries, counselling prospective students and parents, and converting leads into confirmed admissions. The role demands strong communication skills, process orientation, and the ability to work with CRM systems in a target-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound admission enquiries via calls, emails, walk-ins, and digital platforms.
  • Counsel prospective students and parents on academic programs, eligibility, fees, and admission processes.
  • Manage and update leads, follow-ups, and conversion status using CRM tools (Meritto or similar).
  • Achieve assigned admission and conversion targets within defined timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (academics, finance, marketing) to ensure smooth admission closure.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with admission policies and SOPs.
  • Participate in admission drives, events, and outreach activities as required.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • 10+2/Graduate in any discipline.
  • 0?2 years of experience in admissions, education sales, counselling, or customer-facing roles.
  • Freshers with strong communication skills and learning orientation may be considered.

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluency in English and one local language:
    • Kannada & Telugu or Tamil & Malayalam (mandatory).
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and follow-up skills.
  • Hands-on exposure to CRM tools such as Meritto (preferred).
  • Target-oriented, disciplined, and process-compliant approach.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, email communication).
