Role & responsibilities:

Must-Have

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Anaplan model building experience (Level 2 certified, Level 3 preferred).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Anaplan solutions for complex business scenarios.
• Strong understanding of Anaplan best practices, including sparsity management, dynamic cell access (DCA), versioning, and workflow.
• Excellent skills in modular design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, or integration using REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Excel and data transformation logic (ETL).
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, FP&A, or supply chain planning domains.

Good-to-Have

• Anaplan Solution Architect Certification (a strong advantage).
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience integrating Anaplan with SAP, Workday, Oracle, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing capabilities.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Lead and manage the end-to-end Anaplan model development, including design, build, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into model designs, and implement scalable Anaplan solutions.
• Maintain and optimize existing models by enhancing performance and applying best practices.
• Work on data integration between Anaplan and other systems (ERP, BI tools, Data Lakes, etc.).
• Drive UAT sessions, training, and documentation for end users.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior model builders.
• Act as a subject matter expert in connected planning solutions.
