The Voice Setup Architect will design and implement enterprise-grade voice communication systems for new office environments. This includes PBX, VoIP, SIP trunking, and integration with collaboration platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Voice Architecture & Design
- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) andLow-Level Design (LLD) for voice infrastructure.
- Define call routing, dial plans, and numbering schemes.
- Design SIP trunking and PSTN connectivity for local and global offices.
- Implementation & Deployment
- Configure PBX systems, VoIP gateways, and session border controllers.
- Integrate voice systems with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or other UC platforms.
- Ensure QoS policies for voice traffic across LAN/WAN..
- Security & Compliance
- Implement encryption for voice traffic and secure signaling protocols.
- Ensure compliance with telecom regulations and organizational standards.
- Testing & Optimization
- Conduct acceptance testing for call quality and failover scenarios.
- Monitor and optimize voice performance post-deployment.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in VoIP technologies, SIP, RTP, and PBX systems.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco CUCM, Avaya, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Unified Communications and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with QoS, VLANs, and network fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
