Looking for highly skilled Senior IBM Datacap Developer to lead and support a fresh implementation, version upgrade, and ongoing application support of IBM Datacap solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will work in a global delivery model, collaborating with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation & Upgrade:
  • Lead the design and development of new IBM Datacap applications.
  • Perform version upgrades and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
  • Migrate Datacap solutions from on-premise to cloud (or hybrid) environments.
• Application Support:
  • Provide L2/L3 support for Datacap applications in production.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to scanning, OCR, workflows, and integration.
  • Monitor performance and optimize Datacap processes.
• Collaboration & Delivery:
  • Work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Coordinate with offshore development teams for development and support activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of solutions in an agile environment.
• Documentation & Best Practices:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs and user guides.
  • Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Datacap 9.x or higher.
• Expertise in Datacap Studio, Datacap Navigator, Datacap Rulerunner, and Datacap FastDoc.
• Experience with OCR engines (e.g., ABBYY, Nuance) and image processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Understanding of document capture workflows, batch processing, and security models.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for working in a global delivery model.
