Role & responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of load balancers, DNS, and SSL offload solutions.
• Practical experience with F5s iControl API and integrating applications.
• Proficiency in F5 iRules (TCL scripting language).
• Skilled in application switching, traffic management, persistence settings, SSL offload and certificate/key implementation, as well as web acceleration and TCP optimization.
• Familiarity with F5 DoS and DDoS defense mechanisms, including network packet filters and iRules.
• Functional understanding of advanced F5 modules such as Web Accelerator, Application Security Module, and Application Policy Module.
• Ability to interpret F5 system logging event types and logging levels.
• Comprehensive expertise in SSL cryptographic protocols for securing internet communications and leveraging F5 BIG-IP ADC for SSL offload and server encryption.
• Understanding of private key infrastructure (PKI) for SSL certificate/key management and rollover.
• Proven capability in planning, designing, and deploying enterprise network security technologies.
• Mastery of network protocols.
• Hands-on experience in security troubleshooting, network forensics, and packet analysis using tools such as Wireshark and Opnet.
• Experience in root cause analysis, risk mitigation, security assessments, threat analysis, and architectural reviews.
