Role & responsibilities

Primary Skill:

ETL Testing, Python, SQL, AWS (Databricks or snowflake or Hive) Spark Or Airflow

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer hands-on experience in ETL/DWH testing, strong expertise in SQL, and scripting skills in Python. Experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake is highly preferred. The candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting test automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

ETL / Data Warehouse Testing

• Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across multiple source and target systems.
• Validate data transformations, mappings, and business rules implemented in ETL workflows.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing for data pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for resolution.

Technical Test Execution

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data profiling and validation.
• Use Python for creating automated test scripts, data validation tools, or utilities.
• Work with Databricks or Snowflake or HIVE to test and validate data flows.
• Validate jobs orchestrated through tools like Airflow, ADF, or Databricks Workflows (nice to have).
