Profile L2 Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design and Implementation:
• Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and security.
• Deploy SDN solutions to automate network operations and improve scalability.
• Network Security:
• Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.
• Configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Respond to security incidents and threats.
• Network Operations:
• Monitor network performance and proactively address issues.
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Deep understanding of network security concepts and technologies.
• Experience with SD-WAN and SDN technologies.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute).
• Understanding of network automation tools (Ansible, Python).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are preferred.
