Required Technical Skill Set

Provide day to day operational support for the Firewall Management Service.

• Responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and operation of firewall setups and management. ? Your role involves resolving operational incidents, managing firewall security policies and rule sets, and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
• Expert level knowledge of Fault Management like Identify and Classify Fault, Investigate and Diagnose Fault and Provide Fault resolution.
• Should have very good experience of software patch management to manage the Firewall patch management cycle, patch testing and deployment of patches on timely basis ? Candidate should have knowledge of backup and restoration for configuration as per defined backup and restoration policy
• Create various reports for remediation, change tracking and on demand basis.
• Initial firewall/IPS testing of parameters, operation, support and commissioning.
• Knowledge of Analysis of IPSec VPNs implementation and Manage and Monitor all VPN connectivity.
• Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems ? Support client with Firewall Management related questions including those related to remediation procedures. ? Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors for Network Hardware replacement Core level debugging. ? Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems. ? Adhere to change control/management process. ? Network Security KPIs & Reporting Metrics
