Role: NOC Command Center Engineer
Location: Chennai/Hyderabad
Experience Range: 5 to 10 Years
Job Description:
- experience in computer network management & troubleshooting is required
- Experience in managing end client networks is preferred
- Monitors, manages, and troubleshoots client network infrastructure from a centralized location to ensure its optimal performance, availability, and security.
- The Level II NOC engineer oversees escalated technical issues, performs in-depth troubleshooting, and supports critical systems recovery. They serve as a bridge between Level 1 and engineering/architecture teams, ensuring effective incident management and root cause analysis.
- Monitoring network dashboards, analyzing performance KPIs, and implementing configurations to optimize network traffic flows and Quality of Service (QoS).
- Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each ticket
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong knowledge of networking in Cisco, Juniper & Fortinet
- Intermediate knowledge in routers, layer 2/3 switches, and other networking devices.
- Extensive knowledge of Server administration & troubleshooting in Linux and Microsoft Windows environment.
- Handling and resolving trouble tickets, suppressing false alarms, and escalating issues to L3 engineers or other specialized teams when necessary
- Documenting solutions, updating runbooks, and contributing to the NOC's knowledge base to support other engineers and improve processes.
- Participating in on-call rotations for high-priority incidents outside standard work hours.
