Role Overview
The Sales / Business Development Intern will be trained and mentored to understand the EdTech market, international education ecosystem, and structured sales methodologies. The intern will work closely with senior sales professionals to learn B2C and B2B sales processes, application workflows, client communication, and strategic business development techniques.
This role offers international exposure and a strong learning base for candidates looking to build a long-term career in EdTech sales, consulting, or business development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Support B2C and B2B sales activities under the guidance of senior team members
- Assist in lead generation, lead qualification, and follow-ups
- Learn and apply structured sales strategies and conversion techniques
EdTech & International Education Exposure
- Understand the international education ecosystem (students, institutions, partners)
- Learn how student applications are processed and managed
- Get trained on application submission workflows and documentation requirements
Client Interaction & Communication
- Assist in communicating with students, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Learn professional sales communication (calls, emails, WhatsApp, CRM updates)
- Support relationship-building activities with clients and partners
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct basic market research on EdTech trends and competitor analysis
- Learn strategic methods for market penetration and business growth
- Support sales planning and reporting activities
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Strong interest in Sales, Business Development, or EdTech industry
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to learn B2C and B2B sales processes
- Basic understanding of MS Excel / Google Sheets
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Prior internship or exposure to sales, counselling, or customer handling
- Interest in international education or EdTech platforms
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems
