Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS React Js SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and mySQL. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This hybrid role offers a day shift with no travel required allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable software solutions using AWS React Js and Spring Boot to enhance our product offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust applications that meet business requirements.
• Utilize Java and JavaScript to create efficient and reliable code that supports our software infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize SQL and mySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues to minimize downtime and improve user experience.
• Implement best practices for software development and deployment to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our software solutions.
• Participate in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards to safeguard company and customer information.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in AWS React Js SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and mySQL.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus providing valuable insights into industry-specific challenges.
