Team Leader Roles & Responsibilities (Motor Insurance Renewal Calling)
- Manage and supervise the telecalling team
- Allocate daily renewal data and calling targets
- Monitor team productivity, calls, and follow-ups
- Ensure timely calling before policy expiry
- Control and manage Excel-based renewal sheets
- Ensure accurate updating of call status in Excel
- Track renewed, pending, and lost cases
- Prevent data duplication and data misuse
- Support callers during difficult or high-value calls
- Monitor call quality and script adherence
- Ensure IRDAI compliance and ethical selling
- Handle customer and internal escalations
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Prepare and share daily MIS reports
- Identify underperformers and take corrective action
- Train and coach team members regularly
- Manage attendance, shifts, and discipline
- Validate incentives and performance data
- Coordinate with operations and HR teams
- Ensure overall team target achievement and data security
