Role & responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and working professionals using leads provided by the institute
- Explain software training courses (IT / Software / Automation / Cloud / Testing / Development etc.) to students, freshers, and experienced professionals
- Counsel candidates with 010 years of experience based on their career background and goals
- Convert enquiries into confirmed admissions through effective communication and follow-ups
- Handle inbound calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and online enquiries
- Perform regular follow-ups until closure and payment confirmation
- Maintain lead tracking, call logs, and follow-up records in CRM / Excel
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets
- Coordinate with trainers and operations team regarding batch availability and onboarding
- Build strong relationships with students and parents to ensure high satisfaction
Preferred candidate profile
- Any graduate / diploma holder (Freshers to 10 years experience can apply)
- 010 years of experience in tele calling, inside sales, education counseling, or software training sales
- Prior experience in software training institute / EdTech / IT course sales is a strong advantage
- Excellent Tamil communication skills (English is mandatory; Hindi is an added advantage)
- Ability to confidently handle students, freshers, working professionals, and parents
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and closing skills
- Comfortable with target-based sales environment
- Basic computer knowledge (CRM tools, Excel, WhatsApp, calling systems)
- Result-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated personality
