Role:

• Test Manager creates a clear plan to ensure quality of all changes that will go live.
• Identifies the risk in case of unfinished tests, open defects and communicates it to the stakeholder.
• Closely co-ordinates with release manager in defining the quality processes.
• Collaborates with Stakeholders to understand the quality expectations and translates it to the testers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Management: Ability to plan resources, schedule activities, resolve test environment issues and provide consultancy on additional testing needs.

2. Reporting quality status: Define quality metrics, measures them periodically and suggest improvements in the way testing is conducted.

3. Communication & Collaboration: Clear reporting of test results and effective collaboration with developers, QA teams, and product owners. Conflict resolution in cases of resources and priority of testing during high-pressure releases.
