Job Title: Graduate Marine Engineer
A Marine Engineer is responsible for efficient Operation and Maintenance of shipboard machineries on a day-to-day basis. Merchant ships carry a variety of cargo through the worlds ocean and seas. They are fitted with large and sophisticated machineries ranging from a Main propulsion plant, power generation plants, boilers, pumps etc. A group of highly talented Marine Engineers led by the Chief Engineer take care of their operations and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the machineries under your charge.
- Watch-keeping, while at sea and in port.
- Reporting to Chief Engineer.
- Safeguard the environment against any pollution from ship.
- Maintain highest standards of safety as per the companys policy.
Qualifications, Eligibility, and skills:
- BE/ BTech in Mechanical Engineering or Mech & Automation Engineering or Mech & Electrical Engineering or Mech & Electronics Engineering.
- Degree should be completed in four years.
- Age not more than 26 years on the date of joining.
- A positive attitude towards training and job.
- Good Engineering concepts.
- Good communication skills.
- Good hands-on skills.
- Position open for both female and male candidates.

Salary and Benefits
- US$750 during the first six months of apprentice.
- US$2000 (approx.) onwards as an Engineering officer.
- Tax laws in India allows full exemption of income tax on salary earned on board merchant ships, subject to certain conditions.

- The selection process comprises of online registration, online test, Interview, psychometric and medical test.
